Whether it’s a beloved book, a favorite song, a lone seashell (or many), a handmade birthday card from a friend, an old photograph, a weathered jacket borrowed from someone dear, an ink pen, or words from beautiful souls—each piece holds meaning. My collection is ever-growing, filled with things I would never part with, each carrying a story, a sentiment, a moment in time.

Over the years, I’ve realized that the things closest to my heart aren’t just objects—they are experiences, emotions, and connections. Each holds a story, whether tied to a person, a place, or a book, but always to a feeling. Sometimes joyful, sometimes bittersweet, but always profound. Hi, I’m Kamal, a postgraduate product designer who has lived, interned, and worked in at least five different cities. I call Mumbai my house, but Bombay will always be my home.
